UNTHSC’s ‘Health’s Angels’ ride to beat MS

Thu, May 8, 2014

UNTHSC’s “Health’s Angels” Bike MS team, led by co-captains Darrin D’Agostino, DO, MPH, Chair and Associate Professor, Internal Medicine, and David Baker, UNT Health Business Systems Analysis Manager, raised more than $35,000 during the MS150: Sam’s Club Round-Up Ride on May 3-4. The team has raised almost $100,000 over the last three years to fight multiple sclerosis. Radiology Associates and Frank Papa, DO, Professor, Medical Education, sponsored the team, and TIOPA made a $2,000 donation to the fundraising effort. The team’s event tent included live music, keeping spirits high for the 38 riders, drawing visitors from other tents and bringing attention to UNTHSC. Well done!
