David Cistola named vice president for research

David Cistola, M.D., Ph.D., has been named vice president for research, President Scott Ransom announced. Cistola currently serves as associate dean for research and professor of clinical laboratory science in the College of Allied Health Sciences; and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
