On Feb. 22, the UNT Health Science Center honored 224 employees who reached anniversaries of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years with the UNT System.  They were honored with certificates and pins.

National Matching Services, Inc., which coordinates the Osteopathic Match, announced that 74 percent of osteopathic students and graduates who participated this year successfully matched into osteopathic residency or internship positions.

$3.5 million Life Technologies grant will help train, certify forensic scientists at UNT Health Science Center

The Center for Human Identification at the UNT Health Science Center recently received a three-year $3.5 million grant from Life Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: LIFE), a leader in forensic DNA testing systems, to train researchers from around the world in forensic DNA analysis techniques.

UNTHSC sponsors health fair, races at The Cowtown

UNT Health Science Center is once again proud to sponsor The Cowtown, now a two-day series of six races, on Feb. 26 and 27. This year, the event, founded by the Health Science Center in 1979, moves to the Will Rogers Memorial Center to accommodate its growth from last year’s 21,000 runners.
